Funeral & Memorial Services
Why have a celebrant led Funeral?
I believe that every milestone in life deserves to be acknowledged, remembered, honoured and even celebrated.
A funeral ceremony is an opportunity to honour a person’s final journey from their physical life on to their next destination, wherever that may be, according to their personal beliefs and philosophy.
As a celebrant, I create my ceremonies in partnership with families to reflect a loved one’s life story, their relationships and families, their life experiences, hobbies and of course their personal beliefs, spiritual or otherwise.
Funeral ceremonies are always unique to each individual and family. Some may be formal, mournful and sad. Others may be serious but light hearted with a range of music choices.
Some ceremonies may be themed with love, laughter, happiness and even dancing, to celebrate a life rather than to mourn.
Anything is possible, I have no rules.
My aim is to create a ceremony that is true to a person, true to their family and an honest reflection of their life, personality and of course wishes.
What is important to me is that when families leave at the end of a service, whether in a crematorium chapel or a graveside, they are departing, safe in the knowledge that their loved one has been truly and appropriately honoured.
It is essential that a family’s lasting memory of that day is one of fulfilment and approval of the occasion to acknowledge the passing of their lost loved one.
It is also recognised that some family relationships are not easy and this can make planning a funeral ceremony truly difficult.
It is my role to help families through this challenging time and ensure a ceremony is honest and sincere, while at the same time respectful, courteous and delivered with integrity.
I am there for you and your family, to create and convey a ceremony that is true to your loved one.

Linda delivered the most amazing Celebration of Life service for my son who was taken from us in tragic circumstances. Her attention to detail was perfect. She met with us whenever we needed, supported us and the rest of the family though this terrible time and ensured our 31 year old son was given the perfect send off to over 300 family and friends.
